Kill Them All and Come Back Alone (Git Herkesi Öldür ve Yalnız Geri Gel)
Kill Them All and Come Back Alone (Italian: Ammazzali tutti e torna solo) is a 1968 Italian-Spanish spaghetti western directed by Enzo G. Castellari. During the American Civil War, the head of a gang of robbers (Chuck Connors) is hired by Confederate captain Clyde MacKay (Frank Wolff) to snatch gold held inside a Union fort. The captain's secret scheme, however, is to have the entire gang eliminated once the job is done, so that none of the booty has to be divided up. The cast also includes Franco Citti, Leo Anchóriz, Giovanni Cianfriglia and Alberto Dell'Acqua, and the film is famously devoid of any female character from start to finish. Castellari wrote the screenplay together with Tito Carpi and Francesco Scardamaglia, while Francesco De Masi supplied the music. Counted among the most action-packed entries of its genre, it is regarded as a spiritual successor to the heist western Vado... l'ammazzo e torno, made the year before by the same creative team.
