The Three Fantastic Supermen

The Three Fantastic Supermen (original title: I fantastici tre supermen) is a 1967 European co-production superhero film directed and written by Gianfranco Parolini. Blending science fiction and comedy elements with a comic-strip style of action, the film was produced jointly by Italy, Germany and Yugoslavia.

The leads are Brad Harris and Tony Kendall, who at the same time were partners in the successful Kommissar X Euro-spy film series, with Sal Borgese, Gloria Paul and Jochen Brockmann also among the cast. Well received by audiences, it became the first entry in the long-running Three Supermen series, which grew to around ten films of varying success while its directors, performers and character names changed over the years.
