Signé Furax

Signé Furax is a 1981 French comedy-mystery film directed by Marc Simenon. It is adapted from Le Boudin Sacré, the second season (1956-1957) of the popular radio serial Signé Furax, written by Pierre Dac and Francis Blanche. The screenplay was co-written by Xavier Gélin and Simenon, and the production is best known for its unusually large roster of stars, among them Jean-Pierre Darras, Coluche and Michel Galabru.

Despite its celebrity-filled cast, the film was a commercial failure on its theatrical release, drawing around 886,000 admissions in cinemas. However, it enjoyed great success when it first aired on television and has continued to attract substantial audiences through reruns and online viewing, gaining a lasting popularity that its initial box office performance never suggested.
