Summer Love (O da Beni Seviyor)
O da Beni Seviyor, known internationally as Summer Love, is a Turkish drama film from 2001. Barış Pirhasan directed the picture and co-wrote its screenplay together with Gül Dirican. Shooting took place in the eastern Anatolian city of Malatya.
The leading parts are shared by Lale Mansur, the young performer Ece Ekşi, and Haluk Piyes. They are supported by a strong ensemble of established Turkish actors, among them Ayla Algan, Şerif Sezer, Serra Yılmaz, Taner Birsel, Tuncel Kurtiz, and Uğur Polat. The production counts among the notable domestic releases of its year.
