Moderna Oikogeneia

Moderna Oikogeneia is a Greek-language sitcom adapted from the American series Modern Family but produced as a separate, independent series that aired on Mega Channel between 2014 and 2015. It uses a mockumentary narrative style and is counted among LGBT-themed television series, and it was a co-production between Greece and Cyprus.

The first season was written by Apostolis Tsaousoglou and directed by Pierros Androkakos; for the second season those roles were taken over by Nikos Papadopoulos and Spyros Rasidakis, respectively. The series ran from March 20, 2014 to May 29, 2015, airing a total of 43 episodes across two seasons.
