Man in the Trunk

Man in the Trunk (original title La Valise) is a 1973 French comedy directed by Georges Lautner, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Francis Veber. Produced by Gaumont and running around 100 minutes, the film was shot in French.

Its cast features well-known French actors of the era, including Mireille Darc, Michel Constantin, Jean-Pierre Marielle, Jean Lefebvre, Michel Galabru and Robert Dalban. During its theatrical run in France, the film drew more than 1.2 million admissions. In Russian-speaking countries it is also known under the title "Diplomatic Luggage".
