Liaison

Liaison is a 2023 British-French thriller and espionage series created by Virginie Brac and directed by Stephen Hopkins. Notable as Apple TV+'s first French-language original production, it was released between 24 February and 31 March 2023 as a single season of six episodes, each running roughly 52 minutes.

Vincent Cassel and Eva Green lead the cast, alongside Peter Mullan, Gérard Lanvin, Stanislas Merhar, Thierry Frémont, Eriq Ebouaney and Irène Jacob as the DGSE director. The story asks how the mistakes of the past can destroy the future, weaving espionage and political intrigue into an unpredictable, multi-layered plot set against a passionate and enduring love story. Filmed in English and French, the series began shooting in London in June 2021.
