La vengeance du serpent à plumes

The Vengeance of the Winged Serpent (French: La vengeance du serpent à plumes) is a 1984 French comedy directed by Gérard Oury, who also penned the script. It stars Coluche, one of the most popular French comic actors of his time, with Maruschka Detmers, Luis Rego and Josiane Balasko in the other leading roles. The film runs roughly 105 minutes.

Its title alludes to the feathered serpent figure from Aztec mythology, and it is known abroad under its English title. Shot in French, it is described in some sources as a French-Mexican co-production. The supporting ensemble features Clémentine Célarié, Farid Chopel, François Dunoyer, Jackie Sardou, Philippe Khorsand and Henri Attal. The picture belongs to the later phase of Oury's long career directing crowd-pleasing French farces.
