La Cage aux Folles II

La Cage aux Folles II is a 1980 French-Italian comedy directed by Édouard Molinaro, continuing the story begun in the hit 1978 film La Cage aux Folles. Michel Serrault returns as Albin, the female impersonator who headlines a gay nightclub revue under the stage name ZaZa, alongside Ugo Tognazzi as Renato, his partner of more than two decades. Written by Francis Veber and Jean Poiret, the film was released in December 1980 and features Michel Galabru and Nello Pazzafini among its supporting cast. Building on the success of its predecessor, the sequel follows the further adventures of the nightclub-owning couple and the colorful world around their cabaret.
