Vivaldi, a Prince in Venice

Vivaldi, a Prince in Venice (original French title: Antonio Vivaldi, un prince à Venise) is a 2006 Franco-Italian drama film directed by Jean-Louis Guillermou. Running about 95 minutes, it centres on the life of the celebrated Venetian composer Antonio Vivaldi, evoking the city and period in which he lived and worked. Stefano Dionisi leads the cast, alongside veteran French actors Michel Serrault and Michel Galabru, with Christian Vadim and Bernard-Pierre Donnadieu also appearing. The film offers a biographical portrait of the composer known as the 'Red Priest', touching on both his artistic career and his personal world.
