Movie · 1965 · 2 people

Furia à Bahia pour OSS 117 is a 1965 French-Italian co-production in the Eurospy genre, directed by André Hunebelle. It was the third OSS 117 picture he made, adapted from Jean Bruce's 1955 novel Dernier quart d'heure, with the screenplay written by Pierre Foucaud and Jean Halain. The story follows secret agent Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath, known as OSS 117, who travels to the Bahia region of Brazil on a dangerous assignment. Frederick Stafford made his screen debut in the lead, taking the role over from Kerwin Mathews. The production was shot on actual Brazilian locations, with stunt work coordinated by Claude Carliez and production design by Paul-Louis Boutié. The cast also features Mylène Demongeot, François Maistre and Raymond Pellegrin. In the United States the film was released under the title OSS 117 – Mission for a Killer.
