The movie is over. (Filim Bitti) (translated)
Filim Bitti is a 1989 Turkish feature film written and directed by Yavuz Özkan. Focusing on male-female relationships and their intersection with the filmmaking profession, it stars Kadir İnanır, Zeliha Berksoy, Halil Ergün and Meral Oğuz, with painter Komet appearing as a guest actor.
The story follows two famous actors who are married in real life but on the verge of divorce, and who agree to appear together in one last film before separating. Ironically, the characters they play are a couple passionately in love, forcing the pair—who quarrel whenever the camera is off—to convincingly perform romance on set. The film drew attention at festivals of the period: Meral Oğuz won Best Supporting Actress and İsmail Kalkan won Best Editing at the 26th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, while it was named third best film at the 3rd Ankara Film Festival.
