9 Oguz (Dokuz Oğuz (dizi))

Dokuz Oğuz is a Turkish action-drama television series that premiered on the NOW channel on 28 January 2023. Produced by Gold Film, it was directed by Cem Akyoldaş and Bülent İşbilen from a screenplay by Süleyman Çobanoğlu and Gül Güzelkaya. The leading roles were played by Kubilay Aka, Deniz Işın and Yasemin Allen.

The story centres on Colonel Tomris Toprak, who sets up a special unit called the 'Turkish World Emergency Response Team' to come to the aid of persecuted Turks in various parts of the world. Sinister power centres, however, are determined to crush the team before it can carry out its mission, and the series follows the unit's operations and the obstacles it faces, blending warfare and action with dramatic storytelling.

The series failed to find a lasting audience and ran for only a single season, ending with its sixth episode on 25 March 2023, barely two months after its debut.
