Aşkın Gözyaşları

Aşkın Gözyaşları is a Turkish film released in 1959. Nejat Saydam wrote and directed it and also appears in the cast as the doctor, while Ümit Utku served as producer. The film is likewise known under the title Şoför Ömer. Muhterem Nur plays Gül and Kemal Kan takes the role of Ömer, with Ahmet Tarık Tekçe, Hadi Hün, Aysel Tanju, Necdet Tosun and Dursun Şirin filling out the ensemble. Shot in black and white, the picture comes from the first stretch of Saydam's directing career, which would go on to encompass a great many films over the following decades.
