Nihal Koldaş — Biography

Nihal Geyran Koldaş, born in 1956, is a Turkish actress and theatre director. From 1997 she performed at the Bilsak Theatre Workshop in plays such as Hamlet Makinesi and Hamlet, and co-wrote the play Park Yapılmaz with Ceysu Koçak. As a director she staged Özel Bir Gün (2003) and Mut (2004), adapted from Sevim Burak.

In Masumiyet (1997), which she co-produced with Zeki Demirkubuz, she played Yusuf's elder sister; on television she became known as Gönül in Bıçak Sırtı (2007). She took the lead in Umut Dağ's film Kuma (2012) and appeared in Çoğunluk (2010) and Mustang (2015). In later years she appeared in the series İçerde (2016), Şahsiyet, Zemheri (2020), Kağıt Ev and Mahkum; in 2026 she said farewell to the series A.B.İ., in which she played Saadet.
