Necmi Yapıcı — Biography

Necmi Yapıcı was born on March 18, 1972, in the Buca district of İzmir. He graduated from the Acting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University, where his classmates included Özgür Ozan and Şinasi Yurtsever.

He became widely known for playing Feridun Bitir in the series Ayrılsak da Beraberiz, which ran for five seasons and roughly 490 episodes between 1999 and 2004, and later reused the same first name in another Birol Güven production, Sonradan Görme. Another long-running credit was his role as Kahveci Mesut in the TRT 1 series Seksenler, which aired from 2012 to 2022. In film he appeared in Keloğlan Karaprens'e Karşı, Şans Kapıyı Kırınca and Beyaz Melek, followed by Sadece Sen in 2014 and Bakkal Amca: Mahmut Tuncer in 2024.

He married Melek Şahin in 1996 and had a son before divorcing in 2001; he later married Nihan Durukan in 2016. In 2026 he continued to appear at children's entertainment events in Fethiye under the "Eğlence Karnavalı" program.
