Münir Akça — Biography

Münir Akça was a Turkish stage, film and television actor born in 1951 in Ordu. For many years he worked as both an actor and a director at the Bakırköy Municipal Theatre, and over the course of his career he appeared in numerous television series and films, including the 2010 series "Mahpeyker: Kösem Sultan."

On November 27, 2016, Akça fell down the stairs of his home in his hometown of Ordu and was rushed to the hospital, where he died from a brain hemorrhage. He was laid to rest at the Marango Cemetery in the Perşembe district.
