Marilou Berry — Biography

Marilou Berry is a French actress, screenwriter and film director born on 1 February 1983 in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. The daughter of director and actress Josiane Balasko and screenwriter Philippe Berry, she was educated at the Lycée Condorcet and the École Internationale Bilingue-Victor Hugo.

She rose to wide recognition for her performance in Agnès Jaoui's Look at Me (Comme une image), and went on to build a career largely centered on comedy, appearing in films such as Once Upon a Time in the Oued, Those Happy Days, Trivial, Cliente and Beur sur la ville.

She continued to expand her filmography with Merlin (2012) and Queens of the Ring (2013), and was made a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in recognition of her contribution to French cinema.
