Macit Sonkan — Biography
Macit Sonkan (born 1953 in İzmir) is a Turkish actor who has worked across theatre, film and television. After training at the Fine Arts Theatre Acting program, he joined the State Theatres of Turkey in 1978 and went on to combine stage work with roles on screen.
Known for his contributions to children's theatre, Sonkan performed in productions staged abroad and received several awards for his stage career. His screen credits include the films Camdan Kalp and Abuzer Kadayıf as well as the series Ezo Gelin, and he became widely recognized for playing Nasuh Sadoğlu in the 2019 television series Hercai.
