Khalifa Natour — Biography

Born in 1965 in the town of Qalansawe, Khalifa Natour belongs to Israel's Arab minority and has built a long career as a stage and screen actor. His training came at the Beit Zvi drama school, where he took on parts such as Othello and Timon of Athens before finishing his studies in 1991. He has continued to work in theatre and cinema both at home and internationally in the decades since. Among his screen roles are Rana's Wedding, The Band's Visit and Dancing Arabs - A Borrowed Identity, and in 2020 he joined the cast of the Netflix series Fauda for its third season. His stage work has earned him the Israel Theater Prize.
