Iran Ghaderi — Biography
Iran Ghaderi, born Fatemeh Ghaderifar, was an Iranian film actress born in Tehran in 1920 who died in 1999. She built her career during the 1960s and 1970s, the peak years of Iran’s prolific pre-revolutionary commercial cinema, often referred to as “Film Farsi.”
Appearing in close to thirty films — including Ganj-e Gharoon, Hatam-e Taei, Shahr-e Hert, and The Target — Ghaderi became a familiar presence on Iranian screens, frequently cast as mothers, aunts, and other older female supporting characters.
