Hasan Ali Mete — Biography
Hasan Ali Mete is a Turkish actor born on 24 October 1966 in Erzincan who has long been based in Germany. Besides acting he has also worked as a broadcast presenter, translator and innkeeper. He began his screen career in 1985 with a role in the long-running German television series Lindenstraße, later appearing in episodes of Tatort: Der Entscheider and Tatort: Wer nicht schweigt, muß sterben. His parts in Lola + Bilidikid (1999) and Kebab Connection (2004) brought him to wider audiences. In subsequent years he went on to appear in Uçuş Planı, Tod in Istanbul, Tehran Taboo and Kebab extrascharf.
