Faik Ergin — Biography

Faik Ergin was born on February 16, 1978, in İskenderun. He attended the English College in Libya and İskenderun Anadolu High School before graduating from the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University.

He entered modeling in 2000 after winning the Best Model of Turkey and Best Model of World titles, and that same year made his first on-screen appearance in a small role in the TV film Fosforlu Cevriye; after training at the Şahika Tekand Studio, he went on to play Selim Sayar in the film Şarkıcı.

In the years that followed he appeared in productions such as Gümüş, Hacı, Genco, Uygun Adım Aşk, Galip Derviş, Küçük Ağa and Cesur Yürek, and later played Kemal in the Atv series Kanatsız Kuşlar, whose lead cast included Deniz Bolışık, Ahmet Varlı, Melis Tüzüngüç, Ümit Kantarcılar and Fatih Al.
