Canan Maktal — Biography

Canan Maktal is a Turkish actress born on 6 May 1982 in İzmir. She graduated from the Acting Department of the Anadolu University State Conservatory. She began her screen career in 2006 with the series Köprü and went on to appear in series such as Küçük Kadınlar (2008) and Zehirli Sarmaşık (2011). In 2010 she became known to a wide audience through her portrayal of Nazlı in the series Yahşi Cazibe. In cinema she has appeared in the films Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti (2008), Dönüşüm (2012) and Şevkat Yerimdar (2013). She also took part in the television productions Herşey Yolunda Merkez (2013) and Diğer Yarım (2014), and played the character Gizem in the series Şevkat Yerimdar broadcast on Fox TV.
