Canan Maktal — Biography
Canan Maktal is a Turkish actress born on 6 May 1982 in İzmir. She completed her acting training at the Acting Department of the Anadolu University State Conservatory. She stepped onto the screen in 2006 with the series Köprü, then went on to appear in Küçük Kadınlar (2008) and Zehirli Sarmaşık (2011). In 2010 she became widely known for her portrayal of Nazlı in the series Yahşi Cazibe.
In cinema she appeared in the films Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti (2008) and Dönüşüm (2012), and on television she also took part in Herşey Yolunda Merkez (2013) and Diğer Yarım (2014). In the Fox TV series Şevkat Yerimdar she played Gizem, a sharp-tongued but clever character who runs a tourism company with her older brother.
