İpek Karapınar — Biography
İpek Karapınar, born on March 20, 1984, in Istanbul, is a Turkish actress and musician. After studying violin at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Conservatory, she turned to acting.
She made her television debut with Hatırla Sevgili (2006), stood out as Aslı Yazıcı in Köprü (2006) and appeared in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu. Her real breakthrough came as Arzu in the teen series Küçük Sırlar (2010). After Zehirli Sarmaşık (2011), Ustura Kemal (2012) and Adını Kalbime Yazdım (2013), her portrayal of Feride in Kırgın Çiçekler (2015) introduced her to a wide audience. In 2021 she played Çolpan Hatun in the series Destan. Karapınar married director Ali Balcı in August 2025 and announced in 2026 that she is expecting her first child.
