Burak Altay — Biography
Burak Altay was born on 25 May 1980 in Rize. A graduate of the Theatre Department of Dokuz Eylül University, he began his career in 1999 with the series Hayat Bağları. He moved into cinema with Balalayka in 2000, then played Selçuk in the series Kampüsistan (2003) and Gökalp in the film Okul (2004).
In the following years he appeared in productions such as Barda (2007), Benim Hala Umudum Var (2013) and Çekmeceler (2015); in 2017 he appeared before viewers as Ahmet in the series Siyah İnci. In 2022 he played Habib in the series Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam, and in 2025 he joined the cast of the series Veliaht. Also continuing his stage work, Altay was a guest at the Theatre Meetings events organized by Üsküdar Municipality in late 2025.
