Yıldırım Şimşek — Biography
Yıldırım Şimşek was born on 1 October 1969 in Ankara. After completing his acting training, he appeared on screen for the first time in 2001 with the series Hiçbir Yerde; the same year he also acted in Tatlı Hayat and Saksıdaki Ağaç.
In 2004 he appeared in the series Ah Be İstanbul and in 2007 in the film Münferit. In 2009 he became widely known for the character Kazım, whom he portrayed in the series Deniz Yıldızı. In 2012 he took part in the film Jin.
In 2016 he played the character Asım in the series Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz, broadcast on Fox TV, whose leads were Burak Dakak, Mert Yazıcıoğlu and Melisa Şenolsun.
