The Little Wheedlers (Les Petits Câlins)

The Little Wheedlers (French: Les Petits Câlins) is a 1978 French picture directed and written by Jean-Marie Poiré, described specifically as a romantic comedy rather than a plain comedy.

The cast pairs Claire Maurier and Marie Déa with younger performers who would later become major names in French cinema, including Gérard Jugnot and Josiane Balasko. Also appearing are Dominique Laffin, Jean Bouise and Jacques Frantz.

The film's association with both 1978 and 1979 most likely reflects the gap between its French theatrical release and screenings elsewhere.
