Silver Saddle
Silver Saddle (original title: Sella d'argento) is a 1978 spaghetti Western directed by Lucio Fulci. Based on an original story by screenwriter Adriano Bolzoni, it was the third and final western Fulci directed and one of the last spaghetti Westerns produced by a European studio. It opened in German-speaking countries on 24 September 1979.
The film marked the final western role for leading man Giuliano Gemma, who had his breakthrough in the 1965 spaghetti western A Pistol for Ringo. Alongside Gemma, the cast includes Sven Valsecchi, Ettore Manni, Cinzia Monreale, Licinia Lentini, Donald O'Brien, Aldo Sambrell and Geoffrey Lewis; for most of them it was their first and only appearance in the genre.
