People Beyond (Ötesiz İnsanlar) (translated)

Ötesiz İnsanlar is a Turkish drama series that aired on Samanyolu TV from 21 November 2013 to 15 June 2015. The production ran for two seasons and a total of 72 episodes.

The series tells the story of Elif, an idealistic young woman from a village who dreams of becoming a doctor. When her father plans to marry her off for money, she flees with the help of Deniz, a kind-hearted soldier stationed in the village, and moves to Istanbul to pursue a university education. There she struggles against financial hardship and social prejudice. Deniz's love for her, and the opposition of his wealthy family to their relationship, form the dramatic core of the story, while Elif presses on without abandoning her beliefs or her goal.

The cast includes Batuhan Aydar, Helin Kandemir, Merve Çağıran, Reyhan Nur Çalıkoğlu and Sevinç Kıranlı.
