Deadfoot (Ölürayak) (translated)

Ölürayak ("Deadfoot") is a Turkish drama/romance made in the early 1990s, directed by Aydın Bağardı from a screenplay by Ayşenur Arslan. Produced by Hüseyin Apaydın with a score by Cem Küçümen, the film runs 84 minutes.

It follows Ela and Ömer, two people who cross paths at a critical turning point in their lives; drawn close by the nearness of death, the ordinary rules fall away as they share fear, friendship, and perhaps love, treasuring each day in a life with no guaranteed tomorrow.

Haluk Bilginer stars as Ömer, with Suna Selen, Arif Pişkin, Erol Demiröz, Nüvit Özdoğru, Filiz Taçbaş, and Yaman Tarcan rounding out the cast.
