Drawing on the anecdotes and folk tales of Nasreddin Hoca, one of the most recognizable figures of Turkish humor, the series stars Münir Özkul, a beloved actor of Turkish cinema and television. It was directed by Aydın Bağardı, written by Fulya Bağardı, produced by Niyazi Hancı, and features music by Bora Ayanoğlu.
