Of Flesh and Blood
Les Grands Chemins, released internationally as Of Flesh and Blood, is a 1963 French-Italian drama directed by Christian Marquand. Marquand co-wrote the screenplay with Jean Giono. The ensemble cast features Robert Hossein, Renato Salvatori and Anouk Aimée, alongside well-known character actors of the period such as Jean Lefebvre, Fernand Sardou, Robert Dalban and Dominique Zardi. Shot in French, the film runs about 95 minutes. It stands as one of the notable examples of the France-Italy co-production tradition of the early 1960s and among Marquand's efforts behind the camera after establishing himself as an actor.
