Dairy Philosopher Istanbul (Mandıra Filozofu İstanbul) (translated)

Dairy Philosopher Istanbul is a 2015 Turkish comedy directed by and starring Müfit Can Saçıntı, with Birol Güven as screenwriter and producer. Made by Mint Production, it is a sequel to the 2014 hit Mandıra Filozofu and opened in Turkish cinemas in March 2015.

The story follows Mustafa Ali, a contented villager living a modest, unambitious life in Çökertme, Bodrum. When the father who abandoned him and his mother years earlier falls gravely ill, Mustafa Ali is forced to travel to Istanbul to make peace with him. Leaving his village behind, he confronts the sprawling metropolis, where his simple philosophy of life collides with the habits and assumptions of city dwellers. Through these encounters, the film offers a comic critique of modern urban living, consumer culture, and the daily struggles of Istanbul's inhabitants.

Müfit Can Saçıntı leads the cast alongside Kemal Kuruçay and Gülnihal Demir, with supporting appearances by Mehmet Auf, Mahir İpek, and Alper Düzen.
