La Minute de vérité
La Minute de vérité, released in Italy as L'ora della verità, is a 1952 drama film produced as a co-production between France, Italy and Austria. Directed by Jean Delannoy, it features a screenplay written by Delannoy together with Henri Jeanson, Roland Laudenbach and Robert Thoeren. The cast is headed by Jean Gabin, Michèle Morgan and Daniel Gélin, with Walter Chiari and Doris Duranti also appearing in notable parts. Shot in French at the Francoeur Studios in Paris, the roughly 108-minute picture owes its musical score to Paul Misraki, Winfried Zillig and Georges Van Parys, while art director Serge Piménoff designed the sets. Bringing together some of the most prominent French screen performers of the era, the film stands as a characteristic example of early-1950s European co-productions.
