Flatfoot in Egypt
Flatfoot in Egypt (original title: Piedone d'Egitto) is a 1980 Italian crime comedy directed by Steno and starring Bud Spencer. It is the fourth and final entry in the series about Manuele Rizzo, the heavyset Naples police inspector nicknamed "Flatfoot," following Flatfoot, Flatfoot in Hong Kong and Flatfoot in Africa. This time Rizzo travels to Egypt to track down Professor Cerullo, a scientist kidnapped after discovering an insect that lives only where oil is found. The film mixes brawling slapstick with poliziottesco elements, in the spirit of the earlier installments. It proved remarkably successful abroad, becoming the most popular film released in Hungary in 1981 with more than three million admissions. The supporting cast includes Enzo Cannavale, Angelo Infanti, Leopoldo Trieste and Robert Loggia, alongside Giovanni Cianfriglia and Venantino Venantini.
