Mi faccia causa is a 1984 Italian courtroom comedy directed by Steno and written by Steno together with Enrico Vanzina. Built as a series of loosely connected sketches, the film pokes fun at the everyday absurdities of the Italian justice system, following different characters who end up entangled in lawsuits, trials and legal mishaps. Its ensemble cast brings together some of the era's most popular comic performers, including Gigi Proietti, Christian De Sica, Enrico Montesano, Stefania Sandrelli, Marisa Laurito, Franco Fabrizi, Giorgio Bracardi and Gigi Reder. Typical of 1980s Italian popular comedy, the film relies on episodic gags, caricatured situations and the contrasting styles of its many well-known stars.
