Fantozzi against everyone
Fantozzi contro tutti (1980) is the third film in the saga of the unlucky clerk Ugo Fantozzi, a character created and played by Paolo Villaggio, who turns everyday problems into personal disasters. Unlike the first two films, directed by Luciano Salce, this chapter was co-directed by Neri Parenti alongside Villaggio; Parenti would go on to helm six more entries in the series. It is also the last Fantozzi film adapted from the Genoese author's books, with all subsequent installments based on original screenplays.
The film marks the first time Fantozzi's wife Pina is played by Milena Vukotic, who keeps the role for the rest of the saga. It is also the final screen appearance of Giuseppe Anatrelli, who died the following year, while the character of Miss Silvani, previously played by Anna Mazzamauro, disappears from the series.
