Diary of a Telephone Operator
Certo certissimo... anzi probabile, released internationally as Diary of a Telephone Operator, is a 1969 Italian comedy directed by Marcello Fondato, who also wrote the screenplay. The film adapts a story of the same name by Dacia Maraini. Claudia Cardinale and Catherine Spaak headline the cast, with Nino Castelnuovo, Robert Hoffmann and John Phillip Law among the supporting players. Cardinale plays Marta, a telephone operator whose everyday life and romantic entanglements form the heart of the story. Shot in Italian and running roughly 110 minutes, it belongs to the wave of popular Italian comedies of its era.
