Burning Love

Burning Love (original Italian title: Pecore in erba) is a 2015 Italian comedy written and directed by Alberto Caviglia. Running about 87 minutes, it takes the form of a mockumentary, presenting itself as though it were a genuine documentary and building much of its humor on that device.

The film premiered in the Horizons (Orizzonti) section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival, the strand dedicated to innovative works. The cast features well-known figures of Italian cinema such as Francesco Pannofino, Margherita Buy, Lorenza Indovina and Kasia Smutniak, alongside performers including Omero Antonutti, Carolina Crescentini, Anna Ferruzzo and Paola Minaccioni. Shot in Italian, it stands as one of Caviglia's most prominent directing efforts.
