Pinocchio

Pinocchio is a two-episode Italian-British miniseries adapted from Carlo Collodi's 1883 novel The Adventures of Pinocchio. Directed by Alberto Sironi from a screenplay by Ivan Cotroneo, it was filmed in English on location in the Lazio and Tuscany regions of Italy.

First broadcast on Rai 1, the miniseries stars Robbie Kay as Pinocchio and Bob Hoskins as Geppetto, with a cast that also includes Alessandro Gassmann, Luciana Littizzetto, Margherita Buy and Francesco Pannofino. A ratings success in Italy, its first episode drew 7.7 million viewers and the second 7.4 million, and the production was also distributed as a television film.
