Aykut Enişte

Aykut Enişte is a Turkish comedy film released on May 24, 2019. Produced by Necati Akpınar, the screenplay was written by Cem Gelinoğlu and Giray Altınok. The film was shot in various neighborhoods of Istanbul.

The story revolves around Aykut, a lonely man who dreams of getting married and starting a family, but longs for a loving home. A week before his wedding, his shop is robbed, and he loses all his savings. Following this misfortune, Aykut is drawn into an unexpected chain of events. Things get even more complicated when an insurance agent asks for a small favor, and Aykut, a homeless man, suddenly finds himself the son-in-law of two different families; throughout the film, he tries to extricate himself from this complex situation.

Cem Gelinoğlu stars in the lead role; the cast also includes Müfit Kayacan, Melis Babadağ, and Lale Başar. The film was nominated for "Comedy Film of the Year" at the 7th Golden Palm Awards in 2020.
