Ege Kökenli — Biography

Ege Kökenli was born on 20 March 1993 in Kırklareli. After her secondary education she moved to Istanbul for her studies and enrolled in a French high school; during those years she spent five years with a theatre group that staged plays in French. She studied at the Haliç University Conservatory and then at Istanbul Bilgi University.

She began acting at the age of 11, in 2004, with the children's series En İyi Arkadaşım. She appeared in the series Yahşi Cazibe, Öğretmen Kemal, Çalıkuşu and Asla Vazgeçmem; in 2015 she was in Güneşin Kızları and in 2017 she played Bahar in the series Kalp Atışı. She acted in the series Benim Tatlı Yalanım (2019), Kefaret (2020), Yasak Elma and Duy Beni, and took the lead role in the comedy series Doğu. On the big screen she appeared in the comedy films Aykut Enişte (2019) and Hava Muhalefeti. Kökenli, who became a mother in 2026, has frequently made headlines with posts about her daughter.
