Ator l'invincibile, known internationally as Ator, the Fighting Eagle, is a 1982 Italian sword-and-sorcery fantasy. Running about 92 minutes, it is counted among the Italian productions that revived the peplum tradition of the 1960s during the 1980s. Joe D'Amato directed and also handled the photography; the Filmirage production is the first of his three Ator films.

The story follows the title warrior as he sets out on a perilous journey: his wife Sandra has been abducted by the Spider Cult, and Ator means to bring her home. American bodybuilder Miles O'Keeffe plays Ator, with Sabrina Siani, Ritza Brown and Edmund Purdom alongside him; Laura Gemser and Nello Pazzafini are also in the cast. José María Sánchez and D'Amato wrote the script together.

D'Amato took the project on to profit from the barbarian-film appetite stirred by the success of Conan the Barbarian, though he worked on a much smaller budget. Italian critics received the film badly, but it earned a modest box-office success that led to three sequels: Ator 2 – L'invincibile Orion (1984), Iron Warrior (1987) and Quest for the Mighty Sword (1990). The director is also credited as "David Hills".
