Agent trouble

Agent trouble is a 1987 French spy-crime film directed by Jean-Pierre Mocky and led by Catherine Deneuve. Its screenplay draws on the American novel The Man Who Loved Zoos by Malcolm Bosse.

Actress Dominique Lavanant earned the César Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in the picture, and the film picked up further César nominations the following year for best actress, best supporting actor and best score, a sign of the attention it drew from French critics and audiences alike on release. The supporting cast also features Dominique Zardi, Isabelle Mergault and Jacques Boudet.
