Şükrü Özyıldız — Biography

Şükrü Özyıldız was born on 18 February 1988 in İzmir. His mother is of Greek origin and his father is from the Black Sea region. After winning a place in Ship Machinery Engineering at Istanbul Technical University and studying there for a year, he transferred to the Business Administration Department of Ege University; while in Portugal on Erasmus he took part in cage fights, and after deciding to become an actor he trained at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

He began his screen career in 2011 with the series Derin Sular, and went on to appear in Şeref Meselesi, Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar, Kış Güneşi, Çoban Yıldızı, Ruhun Duymaz and Karadut. In cinema he became known for Sevimli Tehlikeli, Her Şey Aşktan, Ekşi Elmalar and Cebimdeki Yabancı, as well as the Netflix films Aşk Taktikleri and Aşk Taktikleri 2; on stage he played the Mad Hatter in Alice Müzikali.

In 2025 he played the character Flavius in the series Kuruluş: Orhan, and he also appeared in the 2026 film D.I.S.C.O.
