Şiir Eloğlu — Biography

Şiir Eloğlu is an actress with both Turkish and German citizenship, born on 6 December 1965 in Istanbul; she has lived and worked between Berlin and Cologne. She is the daughter of the poet and painter Metin Eloğlu, her mother's name is Güzin, and she has a brother named Hasan. Her screen career began with the 1998 Tatort episode In der Falle, followed by a role in the 2008 film Evet, ich will! She went on to appear in 180° (2010), then in the Tatort installments Leben gegen Leben and Im Abseits, both released in 2011, and later in Five Years (2013) and Tehran Taboo (2017). Her more recent credits include the 2026 film Sarı Zarflar.
