Osman Sonant — Biography

Osman Sonant was born in 1979 in İstanbul. He completed his education at the İstanbul University State Conservatory. He began his theatre life by training at the İstanbul Bahçelievler Municipality Theatre. He later entered the world of cinema with the film Kurtlar Vadisi Irak, and was deemed worthy of the Golden Boll Film Festival Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film Pandora'nın Kutusu. At the same time, Osman Sonant has also taken roles in the films Yolsuzlar Çetesi, Memleket, Kırık Kalpler Bankası, İtirazım Var, and Yangın Var. He stepped into the series industry with Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi, and acted in the series Fi, Görünen Adam, Beş Kardeş, Ben de Özledim, Leyla ile Mecnun, and Türk Malı. He joined the cast of the series Ufak Tefek Cinayetler, broadcast on Star TV, whose cast includes Gökçe Bahadır, Mert Fırat, Aslıhan Gürbüz, Bade İşçil, Tülin Özen, Ferit Aktuğ, and Yıldıray Şahinler, and portrays the character Kerim Adil Sağlam, nicknamed El Turco.
