Oktay Özdemir — Biography

Born in Berlin in 1986, İnanç Oktay Özdemir works as an actor in Germany and is of Turkish heritage. His mother had come to Germany from Turkey as a twelve-year-old during the 1970s. He was discovered through a drama and acrobatics club he attended after school, which led to his first screen role in King of Thieves, released in 2004; that same year he also appeared in Jargo. He went on to appear in further German productions such as Tough Enough (2006) and Straight (2007), and later continued working in television, taking parts in series including SOKO Leipzig and Die Anwälte.
