Hayal Köseoğlu — Biography

Hayal Köseoğlu was born on 20 December 1992 in Istanbul to a family of Circassian descent. She stepped in front of the camera at age six in Kanal D's series Ruhsar; after roles in Mahallenin Muhtarları, Aşk-ı Memnu and Muhteşem Yüzyıl, she completed her studies at the Department of Drama and Acting of Istanbul Aydın University's Faculty of Fine Arts.

In 2016 she took the lead in Arkadaşlar İyidir; after İstanbullu Gelin, she drew attention in 2017 as Derya in Ufak Tefek Cinayetler. In 2019 she played Açelya in Mucize Doktor, appeared in the film 7. Koğuştaki Mucize, and won acclaim as Sasha in Mahkum. From 2023 to 2025 she played Ahu in Altın Kafes, Damla in Hudutsuz Sevda and Maral in Bahar, in that order; since 2026 she has played Melis in Muhtemel Aşk.

Nezir Çınarlı, a fellow actor she met on the set of Hudutsuz Sevda, proposed to her in a photo booth on her birthday, 20 December 2025, and the couple later announced their wedding date together. She lost her father, Yiğit Köseoğlu, in August 2025, and wrote a Black Sea elegy in his memory.
